Trust and communication are the keys to any successful relationship – including in business.
The internet is still in its infancy, and the website industry is almost totally unregulated. As a result, many people have trouble finding someone trustworthy to work on their website.
My business has been built exclusively on referrals for the last decade. This means my clients trust me to do every job to the highest standards, and they frequently recommend my services to others. I am happy to provide references on request. All emails are responded to on the same day, if not immediately.
Website Accessibility
In a digital world, access to information and services should be a right, not a privilege. Yet, countless websites still present massive barriers to people with disabilities, particularly those who are visually or motor impaired. This is not only a missed opportunity for businesses but a failure to include a significant portion of our community.
While accessibility is legally required in some regions and for certain organizations, compliance often falls short, leaving millions excluded. I believe accessibility is not just about meeting legal requirements—it’s about creating websites that everyone can use. Inclusivity should be a priority for all businesses and organizations.
I currently build all my websites following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), focusing on creating sites that are as inclusive as possible. While 100% compliance can only be assured through costly audits, I use every tool and best practice available to achieve the highest standard.
Unfortunately, truly functional and accessible websites remain rare in the industry. This is why it’s essential for businesses to demand that developers follow at least the basic best practices, if not more. By prioritizing accessibility, we can create a web that is open to everyone – where equal access to information and services is the standard, not the exception.
